🧼 Why handmade soap?

Our soap bars are intended to be safe and beneficial to the skin by using natural ingredients. Most commercial bars are detergents loaded with harmful chemicals that irritate the skin and cause health effects. Our soaps are Paraben, Phthalate and Sulfate free not to mention plastic and cruelty free for more information please see 'What does Lovely Bubbly stand for?" blog. Because our batches are small we have greater control of the quality of the final product. Soap patterns and weight may vary slightly due to the nature of being handmade, making our soaps one of a kind.

🧼 Where is your soap made?

We run a small soap studio from Irvine California. Our line of soaps are designed, created and handmade by owner and founder Cristina Tate who has a strong background in Architecture and Bodybuilding. Everything is produced with a thoughtful selected list of high quality ingredients, without unnecessary use of harmful additives. Visit us frequently since we are currently developing new and products.

🧼 How long will my soap bars last?

Depends on how you use it. If you keep soap bars out of direct sunlight, high heat, low moisture areas your soap bar will last longer.  Because of it's natural ingredients and zero preservatives, we recommend using a draining soap dish, to allow the bar to dry between uses, you can also set the soap bar aside out of the shower when not in use. We recommend using the soap within 6 months of first use. The scents and colors will slowly start to fade after 3 months. These bars are rather large, feel free to cut them in half for easier handling as well as opportunity to rotate between scents sooner!

After a year you may see reduction in color and diminished scent. Many of our essential oils act as natural preservatives.

🧼 Can your soap bars help my eczema?

The FDA sets regulations that prohibit bath & body companies from making health related claims about beauty products. We are not healthcare professionals therefore we do not claim that our products could have medical/ healing properties. Although we do share information describing the properties of the ingredients used in each of our handmade soap bars.

🧼 Why do I have to wait 2-3 weeks to use my soap bar?

Handmade cold process soap requires 4-6 weeks to cure (at minimum) to allow the soap bar to harden as water content evaporates, this helps create a bar that is bubbly, creamy, longer lasting that you will enjoy over time. Soap bars are shipped after 2 weeks of curing on our shelves therefore we advise you to wait 2 to 3 weeks before using it for the first time. Bars can arrive somewhat soft to the touch but don't worry, the wait will be well worth it! Each batch is different, so if your bar is fully cured before shipping, we will let you know once you place the order.

🧼 What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of the bars we do not offer returns or exchanges. Please email us at info@thelovelybubbly.com if you have any questions or if there's anything we can help you with.

🧼 I have a party coming up, do you take orders for favors, wholesale?

Yes we do! Please email us at info@thelovelybubbly.com and we will work with you to customize your party favors or your wholesale needs. We require a 6 weeks notice to formulate, create and design your customized soap bar.

🧼 Do you ship worldwide?

At this moment we only ship within the United States. We are working on expanding.
